Drunk Ryanair passenger dragged from flight
Police allegedly dragged a man from a Ryanair flight after he began screaming at other passengers.
Eyewitnesses said police grabbed the man by the neck and arm to remove him from the flight at Faro airport in Portugal.
One passenger told newspapers that the man, known only as Paddy, had been drinking bottles of vodka and Red Bull with his friends before the flight took off from Dublin.
She claimed he was abusing staff and passengers.
In a statement, Ryanair said: "This flight from Dublin to Faro requested police assistance upon landing after a passenger became disruptive in-flight.
"The aircraft landed normally and police removed and detained this individual.
"The safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority. This is now a matter for local police."
The prosecutor at the Court of Faro will decide whether the passenger should be charged.
