The Eastern Mediterranean Tourism Association road show will commence in Melbourne on Tuesday February 5th and involve functions in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Canberra, Gold Coast and Brisbane.

EMTA Chairman Iain Ferguson says that since EMTA first extended invitations to its 2008 product evenings late last year the response has been amazing, with this year, over 650 agents having already accepted invitations.

He added, “We are at capacity in Sydney and there is limited availability for agents in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Gold Coast and Brisbane.”  “Only in Canberra has agent response been slow to date, so come on Canberra agents, act now.”

“The evenings are a great occasion. with eighteen of Australia’s top wholesalers and airlines with expertise in the Eastern Med presenting and the accent will be on a wide range of destinations and travel themes in the Eastern Med ranging from cruising and cusine to presentations on popular Eastern Med destinations including Istanbul, Cappadocia, Athens, Santorini, Tel Aviv, Dubrovnik, Larnaca, Tripoli, Rome, Milan, Cairo, Luxor, Damascus, Amman.”

“Agents get the latest Eastern Med product information from the experts.”

“EMTA not only provides the briefing and information, but attendees also get dinner and at each venue agents have the chance to win great travel prizes including travel packages in Greece, Turkey, Jordan and Egypt sponsored by Imaginative Traveller, Inside Holidays On the Go Tours, Greece and Mediterranean Travel; Service, Royal Jordanian Airlines, the Tempo Holidays, Chat Tours and Sun Island Tours.”

Iain said, “Sydney is already full but, but there is limited space everywhere except in Canberra, where we look forward to more bookings, with Canberra agents especially are invited to book your place now.”
