easyCruise eying Florida and the Bahamas
easyCruise in gearing up for future growth is looking at new itineraries such as Miami and the Bahamas, according to news reports.
Closer Greek and Spanish Mediterranean cruises and other river cruises are also on the drawing board, says new CEO Gwyn Hughes.
easyCruise last month announced it would operate Rhine river cruises under a franchise operation.
Mr. Hughes is also preparing the business for a possible IPO or alternative partial sale in the future, according to e-tid.com.
easyCruise ships remain in the port during most of the day and overnight, so that the passengers are free to visit the local bars, restaurants and shops. The company targets the 30-35 age group.
