EasyHotel to open in Reading
Super budget brand easyHotel will open a hotel in Reading this summer.
Opening in August, the 53-room hotel is the result of a franchise agreement between easyHotel and Splendid Hospitality Group, signed back in November 2016.
The hotel, currently operating as Rainbows Lodge, is on Caversham Road, a few minutes’ walk from Reading’s town centre and within easy reach of the railway station.
Once renovated, it will have a reception and small car park for eight cars.
Splendid Hospitality Group CEO Stuart Bailey said: “It’s great to be able to bring something fresh and super affordable to business and leisure travellers coming into the Reading area.”
