Easyjet announces Gatwick first
EasyJet will fly from London Gatwick to Jordan from 28 March with a return trip starting at £106, including taxes.
Flights will operate to the Jordanian capital three times a week.
It will be the first time the destination is served from Gatwick.
The European Union this week signed an historic Open Skies agreement with Jordan.
Easyjet has also announced that it will launch services to Izmir in Turkey, Verona and Bologna in Italy, Seville, and Aberdeen from Gatwick for next summer.
Aberdeen, Verona and Bologna are all daily services, while Izmir is twice a week and Seville is four times a week.
