EasyJet announces new UK director
EasyJet has promoted Sophie Dekkers, previously UK commercial manager, to replace Paul Simmons as director, UK market.
Simmons left easyJet last year to join rival Flybe.
Working with teams across the airline’s 11 UK bases, Dekkers will report to group commercial director Cath Lynn.
Lynn said: "Sophie has a wealth of knowledge of easyJet, and a track record in delivering commercially-focused customer improvements and I am delighted that Sophie can bring this experience to this key role in the UK."
Dekkers joined EasyJet in 2007, initially providing customer insight and more recently driving the airline’s business traveller strategy.
