EasyJet expands at Liverpool
EasyJet has confirmed that it will base an additional A320 at Liverpool, giving it eight aircraft at the airport.
The aircraft will start operating from July 27 next year.
EasyJet will also upgrade two A319 aircraft to the A320 model, which will significantly increase its eat capacity at Liverpool.
The airline will offer over 3,000 flights from Liverpool from June to Setpember next year, providing more than one million seats.
UK commercial manager Ali Gayward said: "We are absolutely delighted to be announcing expansion at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
"The addition of another aircraft and the upgrading of two others will help us to deliver long term, sustainable growth at the base providing passengers with a greater range of destinations."
EasyJet operates 28 routes from Liverpool airport, offering up to 340 flights per week.
