EasyJet issues strike warning
EasyJet is warning flights to Portugal might be hit by strikes later today.
It said there was a small risk that there may be some late notice disruption of flights to and from Faro and Oporto due to industrial action by ground handling staff.
"Our aim is to protect our customers and all flights to and from Portugal will operate as scheduled," said the airline. "There is a small risk that there might be some late notice disruption to flights, however we are taking all possible actions to guard against this."
The airline is recommending all passengers leaving from Oporto check in online where possible to minimise delays.
A planned strike by French pilots union SNPL for today and Sunday has been called off.
