EasyJet launches new Manchester flights
EasyJet marked its 15th anniversary of Manchester flights, and launched new summer routes.
New flights to Paris Orly and Murcia took off this week.
Manchester flights to Paris Orly are departing up to five times a week.
Flights to Murcia begin 1 April and operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Easyjet began Manchester flights in 2008 with two aircraft and six routes initially.
It has grown to now employ over 700 people at the airport including pilots and crew
It offers 70 routes across its network spanning the UK, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
“Since launching operations in 2008 with two aircraft, we’ve gone from strength to strength,” said Ali Gayward, easyJet’ UK Country Manager.
In May, the airline will base an additional Airbus A320neo aircraft in Manchester
