EasyJet passengers up 22% in February
EasyJet saw a 22.4% rise in passengers carried last month to more than 3.2 million over February 2007.
Strong load factors at both easyJet and GB Airways helped boost carryings. The takeover of GB Airways was completed on January 31.
EasyJet load factors were 1.4 percentage points alead of last year due to cancellations in France due to air traffic control industrial action in the last two weeks of the month.
GB Airways load factors were up by 7.9 percentage points and remain strong during the wind down of the airline operating as a British Airways franchise.
