EasyJet unveils Luton expansion
EasyJet will add 12 weekly summer flights from London Luton Airport to Amsterdam and Barcelona and an extra daily flight to Zurich next winter.
The increase will take the airline’s year-round frequency to Barcelona to three flights a day, with up to six flights a day available between Luton and Amsterdam.
It will also double its daily flights to Switzerland’s largest city, Zurich, next winter.
EasyJet will base an additional four aircraft at Luton this year bringing the total number to 19.
UK commercial manager Neil Slaven said: "Amsterdam, Barcelona and Zurich are extremely popular connections from Luton and we’re therefore delighted to be able to cater for the extra demand. In doing so it enables us to continue our expansion at the airport.”
