ebookers adds new affiliate
ebookers.com has signed an affiliate deal with streetmap.co.uk to display late details and its flight, hotel & car booking engine on the map site’s homepage.
Marketing manager Basil Hyman told TravelMole that the online agency now had over 4,000 affiliates in the UK ranging from the very small to large players such as Yahoo, Barclaycard and Lycos.
He explained that it was a great way of increasing market share without having to spend money on advertising, and commented: “It is a good model, it brings add on sales and has lots of cost efficiencies. A further benefit is that the affiliates are coming to us, we’re not having to go out and find them.”
Earlier this month Glenn Fogel of Name-Your-Own-Price airline site Priceline told TravelMole about is affiliate programme plans in the UK. See story
