Ebookers and BA shares fall back again

Shares in British Airways and ebookers suffered once more yesterday as London’s main equity indices stagnated.

 

The benchmark FTSE 100 index added just 2.8 points on the day to close at 4548.4, while the FTSE 250 had a similar day, dropping 2.8 points to end the day 6250.2.

 

British Airways lost 5.75p to close at 215.5 after announcing it is to cut nearly 1000 flights, while ebookers, after soaring on bid speculation last week, dropped another 9.75p to settle at 220.25p.
