Egencia announces new UK MD
Egencia, the business travel arm of Expedia, has promoted Scott Chapman to UK managing director, replacing Graham Kingsmill who has been made vice president Europe.
Chapman will oversee the strategic leadership of all commercial aspects at Egencia in the UK market, focusing predominantly on leading the team to drive sales and revenue performance, it said.
He has previously held senior roles at Egencia as well as Expotel and Expedia.
Kingsmill said: "Scott has been a long-standing employee at Egencia and we are thrilled he is part of the management team in the UK.
"His business development expertise in the corporate travel industry and history as a sales manager at Expedia and Egencia will be exceptionally valuable."
Chapman added: "Egencia has a great track record in the industry and keeps innovating to bring solutions to the travel management industry.
"There has been a huge amount of growth over the past few years. which we look to continue as we aim to double in size by 2020. I am excited to continue my journey at Egencia as UK managing director and I am looking forward to carrying on the great work that has been achieved to date."
