Eight people in hospital after Florida flight hit turbulence
Severe turbulence caused injuries to several people on a JetBlue flight to Orlando in Florida on Monday.
JetBlue said eight people were taken to a local hospital after the flight touched down safely at Orlando.
No details were disclosed on the extent of injuries suffered, but they are not thought to be serious.
"JetBlue flight 1134 experienced turbulence while en route from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Orlando. Medical personnel met the aircraft upon arrival to assist customers, and eight customers were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation," an airline statement said.
