Elderly British cyclist dies after crash in Majorca
A safer cycling campaigner has died following a road accident while he was on holiday in Majorca.
Bryan Sout, a supporter of Stop Killing Cyclists and a member of the London Cycling Campaign, was believed to be 86.
He died following a collision with a car yesterday afternoon as he cycled on a main road between Alcudia and Arta.
The driver, a 48-year-old local, has been arrested after testing positive for alcohol and drugs, according to El Diario de Mallorca.
