Elite Launches Elite Cruise, Hotels and Airfares
Following the recent launch of Elite Airfares, this week saw the launch of Elite Hotels and Cruise at the quarterly members meeting held on Wednesday 10th February 2010
The new initiative is aimed at giving the membership even more choice and wholesale rates across both product ranges .
With over 10,000 worldwide hotels in the portfolio, Elite members will be able to access nett rates and be able to have further choice in addition to the suppliers that they currently have a close working relationship.
Elite Cruise is powered by one of the leading cruise booking engines and will give agents the chance to be able to compete in this very competitive market sector by offering a search system with many cruise lines and destinations at low prices, whilst also being able to demonstrate itineraries and cabin availability in an easy to read format.
Wayne Darrock – chairman of Elite Travel Group said ‘We have been waiting for the right time to launch this opportunity to our members and with both sectors in the industry growing rapidly, Elite Hotels and Cruise give them something unique that will make them very competitive to their customers.’ He went on to say ‘this is not to detract from the work we do with our preferred partners, but to enhance the choice that our members have in this very difficult price led industry’
Paul Dayson of Spa Travel in Wetherby said ‘I’ve been trying out the new site and it looks fab! The cruise site is a great asset as I knew it would be, but hotels is also.’
The Elite members have been issued with log-in’s and passwords and bookings are already starting to be made.
