Emerging Market – India
Dear Editor, Your statistics about the Indian Tourist arrivals in Australia should be an eye opener not only for the Australian Tourist Board but also the entire hospitality trade in general. The Indian tourist should be taken seriously. Agreed, currently not all of them have the kind of money to spend like their American, Japanese & European counterparts. It is unfair to compare them to the tourists from those developed nations. I am confident that India will be on the top of the list in the next 3 years. Embrace them & not mock at them, for soon the tourists will be the livelihood for many.
