Emirates flying flag for ICC World Cup cricket
Gulf airline Emirates has unveiled the first of its aircraft promoting the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
An Emirates Airbus A380 flew to Australia and New Zealand emblazoned with the World Cup logo and is the first of several planes that will be adorned with World Cup livery on routes worldwide.
Emirates has long been a supporter of cricket as the official partner of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 2007sponsoring all major ICC tournaments.
Emirates is also sponsor for the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and Match Referees.
Tyhe carrier is title sponsor for the Dubai based Emirates T20 Championship and has ongoing partnerships in the UK with Durham County Cricket Club and Lancashire County Cricket Club.
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 kicks off in Australia and New Zealand later this month.
