Emirates, Maldivian launch airline interline partnership
Emirates and Maldivian have unveiled an interline partnership.
It enables Emirates customers to access 16 popular holiday destinations in the Maldives beyond Malé.
It follows the signing of a MoU between the two airlines, to explore mutual cooperation.
The interline agreement gives Emirates customers seamless onward travel in the archipelago.
It utilises both carriers’ services and networks on a single ticket.
Emirates passengers will connect onto Maldivian’s services to resort destinations such as Dharavandhoo Island Faresmathoda, Funadhoo Airport, Fuvahmulak Island and Gan Island.
From today, travel itineraries can be booked on emirates.com, the Emirates mobile app, or preferred travel agents.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ CCO said: “We are delighted to establish a partnership with Maldivian, to expand our reach into more points in the Maldives.”
Emirates began operations to Malé in 1987 and now operates 28 flights a week between Dubai and the Maldives.
