A US Airways flight was delayed taking off from New York’s La Guardia airport after a shipment of live crabs managed to free themselves in the cargo hold.
Flight 890 bound for Charlotte was held up as crew were sent down to the hold to clean up.
The seafood snafu meant the flight took off around 30 minutes late and arrived safely at its destination, an airline spokesman said.
