Australia will have increased access to the world’s capital of design and fashion following the launch of Etihad Airways services to Milan on 4 September, with Etihad flights from Sydney connecting onwards to Milan every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Flights from Brisbane will connect with the Milan service twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays.

The Milan service will operate a three-cabin A330-200 aircraft which is configured to carry 10 passengers in first class, 26 in business class and 164 in economy, a total of 200 passengers.

The route will provide Australian business and leisure travellers with a convenient, one-stop service to Milan via Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Cramer Ball, Country Manager Australia, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Milan as the latest destination to the Etihad network, and we look forward to welcoming business and leisure travellers from both Australia and Italy onboard the new service”.
