Etihad to add extra daily flight for Christmas

Saturday, 04 Oct, 2018 0

Etihad Airways will increase its frequency on the London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi route from three to four a day during the Christmas period.

The extra flight, which will leave London at 12.50 and depart from Abu Dhabi at 7.05am, will be operated by a two-class Boeing 787-9 with 28 business class and 271 economy seats. It will operate from December 15 until January 13.

Etihad said the additional services will also provide more connecting opportunities for passengers travelling between London and key destinations on Etihad’s global network.

UK and Ireland GM James Harrison said: "We are thrilled to announce more flights to London over the festive period. This is a busy time for local guests travelling between both capitals and the extra service will allow more choice and flexibility in their travel."
