Mountain lodges have been introduced by Eurocamp for this summer at the gateway to the Pyrénées National Park in France.
The self-catering lodges are available at the Airotel Pyrénées parc in the mountain resort and spa village of Luz St. Sauveur, some 20 miles from Lourdes.
The open-plan mountain lodges feature three-bedrooms including a mezzanine, two bathrooms, a kitchen with dishwasher, electric hob, microwave and satellite TV and DVD player.
The parc includes four outdoor swimming pools, an indoor pool with a sauna as well as a tennis court, children’s playground and regular organised walks and excursions.
A five night stay on August 29 starts at £550, accommodation only.
Fly-drive options include flights to airports at Pau (51 miles away) Biarritz (115 miles away) and Toulouse (130km away).
Ferry to Bilbao, 212 miles away, is another option.
Holidays in 2010 are available at this year’s prices for bookings made by July 29.
