Eurostar to cancel some services to Brussels next week

Friday, 02 Oct, 2015 0

Travellers to Belgium next week are being warned of potential disruption on both Wednesday and Friday.

On Wednesday, there will be a large political demonstration which may affect public services and transport.

On Friday, a 24-hour train strike will mean Eurostar will not offer any services to Brussels Midi station.

Instead services will terminate in Lille Europe and trains to Lille will run to a reduced timetable.

Eurostar has cancelled its last departure from London to Brussels on October 8.  Passengers booked on the 9158, which was due to depart St Pancras at 19:34, have been rebooked onto the 9152, which was originally due to leave at 18.04 but has now been rescheduled to 18.34.
