Eurostar unveils new-look service
Eurostar’s new three-class service comes into operation today along with a revamped website.
Services will now comprise business, leisure and standard carriages in a move the train operator said has been fuelled by passenger demand.
“We’ve listened to what’s top of mind for our travellers,” said director of communications Paul Charles. “They have differing but clear needs so our reinvention has been designed by our travellers, for our travellers.”
The major change sees First Class split into business and leisure carriages. In business class, passengers have fast track check-in, lounge access, three course meal and chauffeured transport while in leisure, travellers have a 30-minite check-in and three course meal.
In a further move, the Eurostar website has been revamped to feature new content and easier booking of Eurostar services, hotels and car hire.
