Eurowings inks partnership with CarTrawler
Eurowings is offering customers more ground transport options in collaboration with CarTrawler.
It unveiled a new comparison portal via its website eurowings.com offering vehicles from over 2,200 providers in the car rental segment worldwide.
As part of the new partnership, it will be integrated on the Eurowings website so that customers can select vehicles when booking their flight.
Car rental providers can be compared.
In addition, mobility provider SIXT has been awarded ‘Preferred Partner’ status giving Eurowings customers preferential pricing.
SIXT is present in around 110 countries worldwide.
CarTrawler already has partnerships with other airlines of the Lufthansa including Swiss Airlines, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines.
Rental cars can be conveniently reserved via the Eurowings website both during the flight booking process or afterwards independently of a flight booking.
All bookings include flexible cancellation conditions in case travel plans change at short notice.
"We are pleased to have found two strong and innovative partners in CarTrawler and SIXT. Through a seamless digital experience, we offer our passengers the perfect complement to their flight," said Irina Ens, Unit Lead Digital Marketing & Sales at Eurowings Digital.
Existing car rental bookings remain unaffected by the change of provider.
