Eurowings to start Germany-Thailand flights from October
The newly revamped Eurowings has announced it plans to start flights from Thailand to Cologne/Bonn Airport in Germany from October.
Services to Bangkok and Phuket are earmarked from October 25 and operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Tickets are already on sale starting at THB7,550 one-way for the BASIC fare, available at germanwings.com.
Other routes announced include Dubai and Varadero, Bridgetown and Punta Cana in the Caribbean.
“Our new Eurowings strategy is to strengthen our position in point-to-point traffic,” said Karl Ulrich Garnadt, CEO of parent company Lufthansa.
“The new Eurowings will tackle on long-haul routes with a new brand launch, affordable ticket prices and an attractive route network.”
