EVA Air’s Resumption of Paris Service Will Benefit Australian Passengers

Wednesday, 03 Dec, 2008 0

Eva Air will resume a non stop passenger service between Taipei and Paris from January 21.

The three times a week flight using newly delivered Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft is expected to again be popular with Australian passengers, said Sydney-based Thomas Lim, Deputy Manager, EVA Air.

The outbound flight from EVA Air’s home base at Taipei CKS International Airport will depart at 2355 on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.  Arrival in Paris is at 0635 the following morning.

This means that passengers can conveniently connect to other European cities, he said.

[Pictured] EVA Air is expanding its network next year with the resumption of services to Paris in late January.

The aircraft will be configured with 42 seats in Premium Laurel (Business Class), 63 seats in Elite (Premium Economy) and 211 seats in Economy.

Earlier this year, EVA Air’s Elite Cabin was ranked the best premium economy class in a Skytrax World Airline Survey of 170 airlines.

In other EVA Air developments, the additional weekly scheduled flight between Brisbane and Taipei will operate until January 29.

After that date, EVA Air will return to a thrice weekly service although the fourth frequency may yet be retained.
