Ex-NCL chief Riley takes up new US role

Former NCL international business development vice president Francis Riley has joined US travel group Travel Holdings
 
He takes the role of vice president – cruise development as the company expands its product offering across a range of global travel booking web sites.
 
The Orlando-based company’s executive vice president of product development Asi Ginio said: “Despite the economic downturn this year we have seen a doubling of our cruise business with clients across 90 countries worldwide.
 
“This is an exciting time for the company as we continue to expand our cruise product and Francis joins us with a wealth of cruise and travel experience both domestically and internationally.”
 
Riley said: “This is truly a global organisation with a range of clients around the world who are simply looking to add cruise product to their existing product portfolios.
 
“My focus is to help the cruise lines capture this demand for cruise and to provide for our clients additional sales and business opportunities.”
