Experience LOT’s 787’s – The dreamiest way to fly

Have your clients experienced the dreamiest way to fly on LOT’s Dreamliner?

LOT’s fully flat beds in business class (Elite Club) provides the perfect mix of business and pleasure, plus our premium economy (Premium Club) makes your flight a premium experience.

LOT Polish Airlines made aviation history when it launched its new Dreamliner service from JFK to Warsaw on June 1, 2013.  LOT was the first airline to fly the Dreamliner from JFK with its nonstop service to Warsaw.

Again on June 5, LOT made the record books.  This time, LOT Polish Airlines flew the first eastbound transatlantic flight from O’Hare International Airport with the 787.  LOT offers daily Dreamliner service now from Chicago to Warsaw and on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays where there is double-daily Dreamliner service offered.  Following the Chicago launch, LOT proceeded to introduce the Dreamliner to Canadians from Toronto to Warsaw on June 7.

LOT is the first European airline to operate the high-tech Dreamliner and has received outstanding feedback about the quality of LOT’s service and the exceptional 787 experience.  LOT is no stranger to good reviews and has been crowned "Best airline in Central and Eastern Europe" by Business Traveler since 1998.

With its fuel efficiency gained from the use of composite materials in the construction of its airframe, the Dreamliner flies faster than other planes of similar size.  Between Chicago and Warsaw, the flight time compared to LOT’s previous 767 service decreased by one hour!  The Dreamliner is designed around passenger comfort all around.  Its large windows have electronic dimming capabilities and there is new dynamic LED lighting that provides gentler, more natural light.  The 787 features; an  advanced air purification system providing cleaner, healthier air; a smoother ride that helps eliminate mild turbulence and less noise because the engines are quieter.  All these factors combined are designed to reduce or eliminate the effects of jet lag.

"North America is a key market for LOT and our investment in the 787 is expected to improve our yields and revenues as we are reaching new customer groups at our gateways and beyond," said Frank Joost, LOT’s Regional Sales Director – North-America.  .

As part of the introduction of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, LOT had implemented a new aircraft interior design inspired by tradition and famous symbols in Poland, inflight menus and selection of beverages, on-board equipment, toys for children and other amenities.  A select group of flight attendants was provided special training for long haul flights in Elite and Premium Club cabins.  The airline also introduced its Premium Economy class (Premium Club) service that has been very popular with the Dreamliner passengers.

LOT’s Dreamliner has 18 seats in Elite Club (business class) featuring fully flat beds with ottomans, a 180°recline, and power and USB ports at each seat.  LOT’s Premium Club (premium economy); has 21 seats that comfortably recline 50% more than economy, a comfortable footrest and power and USB ports in each seat.  The state-of-the-art economy cabin comes with 213 elegant and comfortable seats with seatback video screens.

LOT Polish Airlines has been connecting Poland with the rest of the world since 1929, so the Dreamliner represents a strong element in the current restructuring process.  LOT flies to nearly 60 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia.  Since 2003 LOT has been a member of Star Alliance whose network currently offers more than 21,500 daily flights to 1,356 airports in 193 countries all over the world.  Thus, passengers flying on LOT receive frequent flier mileage in Miles & More, United Mileage Plus  or any one of the other Star Alliance carriers’ program.
