Farebase launches new agent incentive programme
Farebase have launched a new incentive promotion travel agents to encourage bookings through its Web Portal. This ‘Spring Rewards’ incentive is available to all registered users of the Farebase Web Portal until 15th July 2002.
A range of incentive gifts are available, including click through mice, bubble clocks, leather wallets and pens with an LCD time display. The gifts are designed to complement its current ‘Time Is The New Money’ advertising campaign.
Farebase Portal Partners are offering additional incentives for booking their products from within the Portal. These include Capital Bond vouchers from Unijet and Seligo and free airline failure insurance on any booking made with the consolidator JTA.
Unijet have also offered a top prize of two free transatlantic air tickets with US Airways to the agent who books the most tickets during the promotion period.
The Portal is designed to be a complete booking and information resource for travel agents on the web. It enables agents to make online flight bookings for both consolidated and published scheduled fares and search for charter flights and late availability holidays. They can also look up weather and destination information but also features links to appointed “partner” sites from within the Portal.
Jon Constantine, Managing Director commented “We want to offer some good rewards to agents who book through the Portal. We are delighted that our portal partners are supporting us with other great incentives”.
