Festive Polar Express ride at North Carolina museum
A unique festive experience for kids big and small is waiting on the platform in North Carolina.
Inspired by the hit movie, THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride runs through December 23, bringing an enduring holiday favorite to life.
Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, families are sure to enjoy their trip to the North Pole, complete with hot chocolate and cookies served on board the train.
Passengers are entertained by a reading of Chris Van Allsburg’s classic, The Polar Express.
Upon arrival at the North Pole, passengers deboard to watch Santa present the first gift of Christmas. Before exiting the train at Candy Cane Lane, passengers will receive their own sleigh bell.
There is caroling and holiday entertainment and kids of all ages are encouraged to wear their pajamas for the ride full the full, authentic Polar Express experience.
The Train Ride takes place entirely on the grounds of the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC.
The North Carolina Transportation Museum houses a collection of vintage automobiles, aircraft, and trains, located at the former Southern Railway’s 19th century Spencer Shops.
