Fifty percent discounts at riverside retreat

Off-The-Beaten-Path Steinhatchee Landing Resort in North Florida is offering 50 percent discounts through Christmas, saving guests up to $764.

The otter is for “budget-minded travelers” who stay four or more nights at any of the resort’s 50, one-to-four bedroom cottages. The offer is unusual in that it is extended to the Christmas holiday.

The resort is a picturesque riverside retreat in North Central Florida.

The offer is good through Jan. 30.

Featuring 50 Victorian, Georgian and Florida Cracker-style cottages nestled among 35 acres of natural Florida landscape, Steinhatchee Landing Resort is a vacation retreat for those wishing to get away from it all.

The resort is situated on the banks of the Steinhatchee River, just three miles upstream from the Gulf of Mexico. Outdoor activity abounds with fishing (freshwater, saltwater and fly), paddling, croquet, cycling, and tennis.

Property amenities include a 55-foot swimming pool, indoor swim spa and sauna, fitness center, more than 20 boat slips available for a nominal charge, and daily continental breakfast in the Welcome Center.
