Fiji outlines reopening plan for international tourism
Fiji’s Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama has outlined a reopening plan which will see international border restrictions lifted on 1 November. It is still subject to Fiji reaching its 80% vaccination target.
Health Ministry said nearly 98% have received at least a first dose of the vaccine. When the borders open, fully vaccinated arrivals from ‘green list’ countries must register a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours of their departure to Fiji.
New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Canada, Korea, and Singapore are some of the countries on the green list.
