Finnair launching Seattle flights
Finnair is ramping up its US network next year, launching flights to Seattle on 1 June.
The Nordic carrier is also set to fly from Stockholm to New York and Los Angeles throughout the summer.
Finnair’s new flights to Seattle will operate three times per week, each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Helsinki.
Ole Orvér, Finnair’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We are delighted to offer more connections between the US and Northern Europe. Seattle is a fantastic destination for leisure travellers who enjoy vibrant city life and beautiful nature. We also expect this new connection to be a pleasant surprise for many business travellers.”
Swedish travellers will also benefit from increased connectivity next summer, as Finnair continues its recently launched direct flights from Stockholm to New York JFK and Los Angeles.
In response to customer demand, Finnair will boost the frequencies of its Stockholm to US services from 1 May 2022 and fly from Stockholm to New York daily, and to Los Angeles four times a week.
In the 2022 summer season, Finnair will also connect Helsinki with Dallas, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
In addition, flights from London Heathrow to Helsinki rise to four per day for summer 2022, with wide bodied aircraft operating two of the four daily services.
This will allow for smoother connections through Helsinki and onto the US and to destinations in Asia.
