Flight Centre looks to referrals to fill vacancies
Flight Centre is offering a £5,000 bonus to employees for referring successful candidates to fill its shop vacancies.
The company is looking for 80 staff for its UK shops and will give £5,000 to the employee who refers the most successful applicants from now until the end of December.
The vacancies range from international and business travel consultants to accountant, financial control, e-commerce and IT management.
A statement made by Flight Centre said: “The company has found that its employee referral scheme is a good way of seeking new recruits and can help save on agency and advertising costs.”
Flight Centre already offers employees £500 for referring a successful applicant as well as a plasma television to the person who nominates the most number of successful applicants throughout the year.
