Flight Centre outlines plans for more UK shops
Flight Centre UK has revealed plans to open another 10 shops by June 2007, brining its network to 100 locations.
New locations over the next few months will include Hove, Gloucester and Worcester.
Chris Galanty, managing director of Flight Centre UK said: “While we are also improving our online offering, there is definitely a gap for a long-haul specialist with a visible high street presence.
“Customers want to be able to talk through complicated itineraries to far-flung destinations with an expert face to face.
“After initially focusing on London, Flight Centre’s expansion has seen it open new stores in a number of regional locations in recent years,
including Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Brighton.”
The expansion will also create around 100 jobs.
