Flight Centre Travel Group rebrands BHMA Hotels
Thailand based hotel management company BHMA Hotels & Resorts has a new moniker.
It has been rebranded by Flight Centre Travel Group to Cross Hotels and Resorts, which marks its transition into the Flight Centre group business.
It currently operates 25 hotels across three brands – X2, X2 Vibe and Away in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
It is touting a consolidated hotel revenue increase of about 80% in the past 18 months, as it opened eight new properties in the last financial year.
These include X2 Bali Breakers in Uluwatu, Bali and Away Bali Legian Camakila, X2 Vibe and Away properties in Phuket, and the newly opened X2 Oceanphere Residences in Jomtien, Pattaya.
"Cross Hotels and Resorts was building off a very strong base having increased its operating portfolio of hotels by 39% and entering three critical target destinations — Phuket, Vietnam and Bali over the past 12 months," said Cross Hotels CEO Peter Lucas.
Lucas says it expects to sign four resort destinations in Vietnam this year.
