Florida air fares cut
United, American and other airlines have cut fall and winter fares for travel to and from Florida. In particular there are low fares out of Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Daytona Beach and other nearby airports, reports Travelzoo.
“The catch is that you have to travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday for the lowest fares — if you can,” adds the site. The sales allow travel through mid-February.
One site to search for fares is SuperSearch, which includes online travel agents as well as direct airline sales.
SuperSearch uses more than 2 million consumer ratings and combines with Travelzoo’s years of expertise, allowing users to compare multiple sites, says Steve Clarke, senior producer and director of SuperSearch.
Travelzoo is a global Internet media company. Travelzoo says its media properties, which reach more than 11 million travel enthusiasts in the US, Canada, the UK and Germany, include the Travelzoo Web site, the Top 20 list, the Newsflash e-mail alert service and SuperSearch, a travel search engine.
Travelzoo publishes offers from more than 600 advertisers. The company is headquartered in New York City.
