Flybe adds extra daily service on Edinburgh-Heathrow route
Flybe has added another daily return flight to its Edinburgh-Heathrow service from the start of its 2019 summer schedule on March 31.
The extra service increases the choice of flights to five a day on weekdays and Sundays, and four on a Saturday.
The enhanced schedule also improves connectivity to Flybe’s long-haul codeshare partners and boosts the route by another 56,000 seats a year.
The new late morning/early afternoon flights depart Edinburgh at 12:00, arriving Heathrow at 13:45; with the return departing Heathrow at 14:30 and arriving back in Edinburgh at 16:05.
Flybe chief commercial officer Roy Kinnear said: "Scotland is a significant market for Flybe and our Edinburgh to London Heathrow route has grown from strength to strength since its 2017 launch.
"This is another example of Flybe’s ongoing commitment to connecting regional communities and providing a convenient service to and from major hub airports giving customers seamless onward access to destinations across the world."
