Flybe signs deal for new UK base
Flybe is due to announce new routes from Doncaster Sheffield airport when it releases its 2016 summer programme next week.
The airline has signed a deal to base two 118-seater aircraft there from the end of March 2016 to serve a mixture of business and leisure destinations in Europe.
Saad Hammad, CEO, Flybe said: "Sheffield is the UK’s fourth largest city and is a market that is currently underserved to key destinations."
Steve Gill, managing director of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, added: "These two new aircraft will make available half a million new flight seats and is expected to grow our passenger traffic by around 30%."
