Former Monarch sales director joins Cunard
Cunard has appointed Gary Anslow as UK sales director after a ‘rigorous’ recruitment process.
He was previously sales director at Monarch Holidays, which failed in October.
At Monarch he had responsibility for trade distribution and contact centre operations.
Before that he worked as sales director for Cosmos, overseeing Cosmos, Avro, Somewhere2stay and Avalon Waterways.
His appointment follows a decision to split the sales teams of Cunard and its sister cruise brand P&O.
The change is designed to ‘strengthen links with the travel trade and solidify brand distinction’.
David Rousham, Cunard’s VP UK sales and international development, said: "2018 is going to be an exciting year for Cunard as we focus on our ambitious plans for the future of Cunard globally."
