Former Sainsbury’s director to head up BA external communications
British Airways has taken on ex-Sainsbury’s director of corporate affairs Louise Evans to the new position of director of external communications at the airline.
Her appointment follows a restructure at BA last month, which saw communications director Paul Marston and head of internal communications Amanda Poole leave the airline.
According to PR Week, Evans will report directly to BA CEO and chairman Alex Cruz.
PR Week adds Evans was made redundant from Sainsbury’s in July 2017 following a restructure. She has also held senior communications positions at ITV plc and Dentsu Aegis Network.
