Four-Diamond award leads to other gifts
Central Florida’s only Four-Diamond oceanfront resort has come up with an unusual way to promote itself: a random selection of guests each day in April will receive a gift.
The Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores says it was the only oceanfront resort to receive the AAA Four-Diamond rating, which it received three “best of” — for its spa, best weekend getaway and best local resort.
Guests will receive surprise gifts daily, which could include an upgrade to a suite, spa service, beverages or other gifts.
The hotel is on a peaceful stretch of Atlantic shoreline, just south of Daytona Beach, where motorists can drive on some of the hard-packed sand.
