Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has strengthened its leadership team with two new promotions.

Christian Clerc has been named as president, worldwide hotel operations and Vince Parrotta moves up to president, hotel operations – Americas.

The two appointments fill the gaps left by the recent promotions of Simon Casson to president, hotel operations – Europe, Middle East and Africa and Rainer Stampfer to president, hotel operations – Asia Pacific.

"With the next generation of operational leadership now in place Four Seasons is ideally positioned to build on its legacy of unwavering dedication to service excellence. There is no better complement of leaders to support future growth and guide our world-class operations," said J. Allen Smith, CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Swiss-born Clerc was previously at the helm of the company’s flagship hotels in Washington DC and Paris and spent the last two years in Dubai as hotel operations president for Europe, Middle East and Africa, overseeing new openings in Johannesburg, Casablanca, Moscow and France.

As new Americas operations chief, Vince Parrotta is responsible for nearly 50 hotels and resorts in the region, including the newly opened Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown and upcoming openings including its debut in Brazil.
