Fred. Holidays unveils India ‘Palace on Wheels’ rail and sail journey
Fred. Holidays is introducing a new rail and sail India itinerary with a ‘Palace on Wheels’ train journey.
The 21-night India tour combines a seven-night luxury train journey through Rajasthan and a seven-night cruise on the Brahmaputra with Pandaw.
It also includes stays in New Delhi and Guwahati.
Upon arrival in Delhi, guests stay at the Taj Palace New Delhi for two nights with a full day sightseeing tour.
They then board the luxury ‘Palace on Wheels’ train visiting Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Agra and Delhi.
They will then fly from Delhi to Guwahati for an overnight stay before a river cruise on the RV Kindat Pandaw.
The Brahmaputra River cruise explores the wildlife and landscapes of Assam including tea gardens, silk villages and national parks including Kaziranga and Nameri.
The India tour ends after a flight back to Delhi for a final overnight stay.
There are three departures in 2024:
7 January 2024 – prices from £10,595 per person
18 February 2024 – prices from £9,895 per person
25 February 2024 – prices from £9,995 per person
Price includes flights from London (regional flights on request); three nights hotel, private sightseeing tour of Delhi; rail journey and a seven-night expedition cruise.
