Fred. Olsen and CMV offer discounts to help All Leisure customers
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is offering 25% discount for guests affected by All Leisure Group’s collapse.
Following the cancellation of Voyages of Discovery and Swan Hellenic cruise programmes, it is giving 25% for any 2017, 2018 or 2019 cruise currently on sale, for any bookings made up to January 31.
Customers must show proof of their original ALG booking.
"We are saddened to hear the news that All Leisure Group has ceased trading. However, we want to help affected Voyages of Discovery and Swan Hellenic guests by giving them a Fred. Olsen cruise option," said head of sales Neil Herbert.
"Fred. Olsen is renowned for its more intimate, small-ship cruising, which is very much in keeping with that of the affected cruise brands, and we are looking forward to welcoming new guests to try out the Fred. Olsen experience, maybe for the first time."
Meanwhile, CMV has set up a special number for agents who are trying to find alternatives for All Leisure customers, and is offering a 5% bonus uplift on basic commission.
The number is 0844 414 6140.
It said some of CMV’s ex-UK sailings closely match both the Minerva Swan Hellenic and Voyager Voyages of Discovery brand cruises and there is astill availability on Magellan’s Far East, Asia and Indian Ocean World Cruise sectors between Feb and April 17.
Customers are being a offered a 5% discount on inside category cabins and 10% on ocean view cabin categories on CMV’s current Saver fares, which already have discounts up to 50%.
The blanket offer covers all published sailings in the 2017/18 programme.
