Fred. Olsen Travel acquires Dorset travel agency
Fred. Olsen Travel has acquired a new independent travel agency in southern England.
Saville Travel in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, is now part of Fred. Olsen Travel, and becomes its 24th retail store location.
The travel agency has been in business for more than four decades.
The acquisition follows the death of owner Ron Stanley in November.
“We are delighted to welcome Saville Travel to the Fred. Olsen Travel family and to continue Ron’s legacy for the Wimborne community,” said Julie Berry, MD of Fred. Olsen Travel.
“We would like reassure everyone that it is very much business as usual.”
The branch will continue operating under the Saville Travel name.
“The key to maintaining my father’s legacy was protecting both our incredible staff and the high quality offering for our valued customers,” said Margareta Stanley.
“In choosing to move forward with Fred. Olsen Travel, I feel that I am doing just that.”
