Free broadband internet access at global hotel chain

Monday, 25 Aug, 2005 0

Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts announced its free broadband internet access will be standard in September.

Since most Radisson SAS hotels are already wired, hotel guests can access the internet from anywhere in the hotel, including their rooms.

Meeting facilities and public areas will also offer access to high-speed and wireless internet.

“Free broadcast service is something guests want from hotels today,” said Kurt Ritter president and CEO of Rezidor SAS Hospitality.

He said broadband services, wired or not, are soon to become essential amenities at all first class hotels, in common with bathrooms, beds and televisions.

Radisson SAS completed wireless internet access at most of its hotels in early 2005.
